The Kensington is an assisted living and memory care residence now open to the San Gabriel Valley in the heart of Sierra Madre! It is the realization of a vision of passionate leaders in the senior living industry. This industrious group sought to develop a community that takes the assisted living model of care to a higher level in an environment of comfortable elegance, staffed by loving professionals. They have accomplished just that.
The Kensington is designed to be home for seniors who are looking for assisted living and memory care services. We believe the comfort of familiarity is precious, so our enhanced program enables us to offer care beyond what the traditional assisted living community can deliver. We offer a full spectrum of clinical support, including end-of-life care, and no resident needs to move out if assisted living health care needs change or increase.
Because we believe the degree of memory loss is an important consideration when providing care, we are offering two unique “neighborhoods” – Connections and Haven. Both are cozy environments where residents can feel comfortable and secure, yet each accommodates needs specific to different stages of disease progression.

Kensington Senior Living came about because we, as a group of committed senior living professionals, sought to build a community we’d been dreaming about for much of our careers. We wanted our residents to wake up each day happy and thriving. We wanted families to feel welcome to visit any time, confident they entrusted the care of their loved ones to capable professionals with big hearts. We wanted to be part of a community where we contribute something good.
The Kensington is located on the northwest corner of Sierra Madre Boulevard & Hermosa Avenue – only minutes from the 210 Freeway. Memorial Park and the fire station & police department are across the street. Sierra Madre Congregational Church, cafés and shopping are all within walking distance.
