“Life isn’t about finding yourself, it’s about creating yourself ”
-George Bernard Shaw
G.B. Stern, an early 20th century writer, penned these words: “Silent gratitude isn’t much use to anyone.” Robert Brault, a contemporary free lancer, takes Stern’s thoughts a bit further: “There is no such thing as gratitude unexpressed,” he says.“If it is unexpressed, it is plain, old-fashioned ingratitude.” During this month when we focus a national day on giving thanks, spend a few moments expressing your appreciation to the people in your life who have had a positive impact. As John E. Southard advises, “The only people with whom you should try to get even are those who have helped you.” I am so thankful and grateful for the wonderful residents and families we have here at the Kensington. Thank you for the honor of taking care of you.
With Love,
