Event Details

This past year The Kensington Sierra Madre became the first Positive Approach to Care® (PAC) designated senior living community in California, and now we want to share our expertise with YOU! Positive Approach to Care®, created by Teepa Snow, enhances life and relationships of those living with brain change by fostering an inclusive global community. It uses our talents and abilities to develop awareness, knowledge, and skill with all people, to transform what exists into a more positive dementia care culture.

Please join us for this very special virtual event hosted by Leandra Sims, Connections Memory Care Manager, as she and her fellow Kensington PAC-Certified Coaches discuss specific therapeutic approaches aimed to foster positive outcomes between those living with dementia and their caregivers. They will share tips such as ways to encourage connection especially when verbal communication is altered, and how to create a supportive environment to match the abilities of those with various forms of brain change.

Our Promise at The Kensington is to love and care for your family as we do our own. And we do. We are here for you – skilled, prepared and ready to participate fully in your care journey. As specialists in all aspects of care both Assisted Living and Memory Care, we offer services and programs that are thoughtfully designed, clinically comprehensive and highly personalized. We’re standing by, eager to listen and ready to help.
