We are proud to offer The Kensington Short Story Book Club in partnership with the Library Foundation of Los Angeles.
Join us for this four-part virtual series as we bring people together virtually to lift one another during these difficult times. Moderator Jessica Strand, LALF, will guide us through short stories, including Susan’s, as well as other exciting authors over the next few months.
This month features a short story by critically acclaimed author, Amy Hempel. Hailed as a “virtuoso of short fiction and master of the short short”, Amy’s latest collection, Sing to It, includes this month’s short story: “A Full Service Shelter”.
Registered participants will receive a digital copy of the featured short story prior to the discussion.
