Join us for an expert-led, virtual workshop in collaboration with Beautycounter to learn the facts, myths, what to look for in your cosmetic products.

That new lipstick is making your pout pop but could it be causing neurological damage? And what about your foundation?  It makes you look 15 years younger but could it cause reproductive toxicity or breast cancer? Your mascara is taking those lashes to new lengths but could it cause severe irritation and interfere with your immune system? Unfortunately, the answer is possibly yes depending on the cosmetics you are using  and the ingredients they contain!

This workshop will focus on carcinogens and harmful ingredients found in popular cosmetics and personal care products and its effects on the body, plus how to read labels, sunscreen ingredient myths, what to look for in a “clean” and safer product, and much more.

Hear from experts from a safer skin-care organization, Beautycounter, and get the facts.

This workshop is sponsored by six KSL communities and each will raffle off a cosmetic swag bag worth $150 to a registrant from their respective area.  You must be present at the virtual event for a chance to win the raffle basket!  Post-event, all attendees will receive special resource videos plus a promo code with a discount off of Beautycounter products.

Diana Bergeson is a Director at Beautycounter, a beauty and skincare brand, where she focuses on health and wellness education. She also serves as an advocate lobbying for safer personal care product laws.

In addition to Beautycounter, she currently is working with Stanford’s Head and Neck Oncology Medical Team designing more research and grant efforts based on how environmental issues cause various throat and neck cancers.  A proud mom of two, Diana is a 5th generation San Franciscan whose prior professional background was in startup fashion retailers: expanding, branding and marketing them into international markets.  Her over 40 years of volunteer efforts expand from public and private schools to working with the homeless, the underprivileged and the underrepresented as well as interviewing Bay Area Holocaust survivors and working to ensure their taped stories are now seen and heard all over the world.

Valorie Keller is a Senior Consultant for Beautycounter, with a long career with many Fortune 500 companies.

She is also a wife and a mother of three children, living south of San Francisco. Following some serious health problems, she became passionate about leading a cleaner and safer life and helping others to do so as well.
