Enjoy the Season – Fall!

The fall season has come upon us so quickly. I cannot believe that we are already in the month of October! The months have flown by this year and it made me realize how much I enjoy the changing of the seasons. But rather than enjoying what I have right now, I seem to always look at what is coming.

Being present and in the moment is difficult because of our daily activities, commitments and plans. But with the nice, cool weather that comes with the fall season, we can hopefully enjoy the beauty around us a bit more and focus on being in the moment.

“It can be as simple as going for a walk and being present, watching everything around you in an attentive alertness. You are walking as a field of awareness that looks at the universe, the phenomenal universe, and its beauty. You walk as a blessing on the earth, no longer as a burden and everything and everybody loves you for that. Even nature, you will feel. You will feel trees, flowers, love your presence.” – Eckharte Tolle

I love these words. When we can focus on being present and attentive to whatever we do – in conversations with others, in quiet with ourselves and in unity with nature – we do share positive and peaceful energy.

Enjoy the season – the autumn leaves, pumpkin pie, apple cider, the crispness in the air and the beauty in people and in nature around us. And in this month we can enjoy the fun of Halloween traditions, dressing up, candy and some fall weather!

Warmly,
