“’We’ll be friends forever, won’t we Pooh?’ Piglet asked. ‘Even longer.’ Pooh answered.”

-A.A. Milne

May was filled with fun firsts and new beginnings as we welcomed new residents: Millie A., Jill H., Ellen J., Richard W., David A. and Edward B. Welcome one and all.

We had great fun in May going to Toro’s for sushi, having tea at the Huntington, and cooking our food at Gen Korean BBQ. We also experienced our first “Birthday Bash”. All the Birthdays for May came together for a big party, we laughed, we danced, it was a night to remember.

We are looking forward to having another great month. Saturday June 6th we are scrapbooking, if you have not yet completed your shadow box, take advantage of this day and decorate your shadow box. Or if you would just like to come and scrapbook with us, you are more than welcome. June 14th we are having another Sunday Brunch. Space fills up quickly, so make your reservation as soon as possible. We will once again be scarf painting on June 23rd at 11:00 am. Join in if you can make it.

June’s outings are: Lunch at the The Only Place in Town, The Griffith Observatory, lunch at Beckham Grill, and lunch at The Derby.

We are looking forward to a beautiful June! Thank you for allowing us the privilege and honor of taking care of your family.

With Warm Regards,

The Kensington Assisted Living Team
