We are excited to invite you to the City of Sierra Madre Dementia Friendly Positive Approach to Care® Training with Leandra Sims, PAC-Certified Mentor. This event is tailored to equip our local community, businesses, fire department, police force, friends and neighbors with the knowledge and tools to better support individuals living with dementia.
With extensive experience in dementia care, Leandra Sims, PAC-Certified Mentor and Memory Care Manager at The Kensington, brings a wealth of knowledge and a compassionate approach to training. Her expertise in person-centered care and empathy-driven techniques will provide invaluable insights and practical strategies for all attendees.
Participants will engage in hands-on experiences that foster empathy, take part in debrief sessions to reflect on these experiences, and gain deeper insights into the challenges faced by those with dementia. Join us for this invaluable training session and become part of a community that champions compassionate care and understanding for those living with dementia.
