Our dynamic panel will share the latest breakthroughs in Alzheimer’s research and treatment options. They will discuss the impact of brain disease on families, what to do after diagnosis, and how to manage challenges that commonly result from changing family dynamics. They will offer recommendations about lifestyle habits that can help reduce the risk of memory loss and other degenerative brain diseases, and finally, they will address the questions you may submit when you register.

Susan Evans is a Kensington Alumni Family Member whose father was a member of our Northern California Community for over 7 years. For the last 6 years Susan has worked with Kensington Senior Living as a Marketing Ambassador supporting with educational events & family resources.

Dr. Irina Anna Skylar-Scott is a Board-Certified, Fellowship-Trained, Cognitive and Behavioral Neurologist and Clinical Assistant Professor at Stanford University. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology as well as the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties in Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry.

Dr. Travis Urban is a Cognitive Neurologist and the Associate Director of the Ray Dolby Brain Health Center. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch and completed his internship at Stanford University. In his clinical practice, he sees patients with cognitive impairment like Alzheimer’s disease, Lewy body disease, and frontotemporal degeneration.

Dr. Leila Parand is the Assistant Clinical Professor of Neurology at the Mary S. Easton Center for Alzheimer’s Research and Care at the University of California, Los Angeles. Her specialties include Neurology, Alzheimer’s Disease, Memory Disorders, and Dementia.

Dr. Golnaz Yadollahikhales, MD, is a Behavioral Neurologist and Assistant Professor of Neurology at Cedars-Sinai, where she cares for patients with neurodegenerative disorders and conducts research on imaging and clinical biomarkers in Alzheimer’s disease and dementia with Lewy bodies. She completed her neurology residency at the University of Illinois Hospital at Chicago and a fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco, focusing on PET imaging and cognitive networks in dementia. With a strong background in both clinical neurology and translational neuroscience, Dr. Yadollahikhales is dedicated to advancing understanding and care in brain health.
