Memory loss and dementia come in many forms, but many are unaware of the effects of Parkinson’s Disease on cognition.

Join The Kensington Sierra Madre and Dr. Sean Rogers, Co-Director of the Inova Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders Center and Director of the Inova Parkinson’s Memory Disorders Program, for an interactive discussion about the influences of Parkinson’s on cognition and effective strategies to combat memory decline.

Dr. Sean Rogers is a board-certified neurologist and a fellowship-trained movement disorders specialist. He is Co-Director of the Inova Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders Center, and Director of the Inova Memory Disorders Program. Dr. Rogers specializes in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, Huntington’s disease, tic disorders, dystonia, and other movement disorders, with specific training in deep brain stimulation (DBS) and botulinum toxin injections. Dr. Rogers serves as an assistant professor of neurology at the VCU School of Medicine Inova Campus.

This program is produced in collaboration with PFNCA, a leading non-profit that provides exercise and communication classes and other resources to slow the progression of Parkinson’s Disease.  Learn more at www.pfnca.org.
