The Kensington Sierra Madre is proud to partner with Elizabeth Nadeau, MSG, Director of The Community Assistance Program for Seniors (CAPS) Pasadena/West Covina, for this educational evening about Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI). At some point in life, you or someone you love will likely forget a name, an anniversary or where you put your keys. But it can be unsettling if memory lapses become frequent, begin to interfere with daily life or compromise safety.
Join us for light bites and beverages while you learn:
- The differences between normal forgetfulness from aging, Mild Cognitive Impairment, Dementia and Alzheimer’s
- What steps to take if you or someone you love is showing signs of early memory loss
- How to talk with your loved one about changes in cognition
- The importance of self-care
- What treatments, resources and local services are available to you and your loved one
The Kensington is a leading senior living provider of best-in-class assisted living and memory care, led by a talented team with an unwavering commitment to excellence. We are proud to be a trusted source of information about dementia and Alzheimer’s care. We encourage you to share your concerns so we can provide the expert support you or your loved one needs. Please reach out.

Elizabeth Morgan Nadeau, MSG, is the Director of The Community Assistance Program for Seniors (CAPS) Pasadena/West Covina. With over ten years’ experience working in various professional roles serving the senior population, Elizabeth’s 5-year plan is to open an RCFE specializing in the treatment & prevention of dementia, regardless of the cause, to provide CAPS clients with continuous care after they leave the day program. Elizabeth has a Master of Science in Gerontology (2017 – CSULB) specializing in Alzheimer’s & senior nutrition. Just prior to working for CAPS (2018), she was a memory care director for a long-term psychiatric care facility in Long Beach serving at-risk seniors. She hopes to continue working alongside likeminded professionals to help revolutionize senior care and assist in creating the infrastructure necessary for a future that is supportive of the senior community.
