Michael Bottros, MD, serves as the Clinical Operations and Medical Director for Pain Services at Keck Medicine of USC. Dr. Dr. Bottros draws on his extensive experience to provide an evidence-based, patient-tailored approach to treat acute and chronic pain. Using a multi-modal approach, he uses, but is not limited to: leading-edge advanced pain treatment procedures, non-opioid pain medications, drug infusions, pain psychology, and physical therapy/occupational therapy.
Alexander Chen, MD, is a board certified anesthesiologist and interventional pain medicine specialist. Dr. Chen is a an assistant professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at USC. Dr. Chen’s clinical focus is on treating patients with chronic pain throughout the entire spine, as well as chronic extremity pain from various causes. His philosophy involves a highly multimodal treatment regimen involving various interventions, medications, and therapies.
Jeffrey Lin, MD, is an anesthesiologist and pain medicine specialist at Keck Medicine of USC. In his role as a pain management specialist, Dr. Lin helps patients get back to their normal activities and provides care options to reduce their physical pain. In conjunction with a multidisciplinary team, he focuses on developing treatment plans that are customized to each patient’s needs and values — utilizing non-opioid medications, injections and advanced interventional techniques to relieve chronic pain.
Porus D. Mistry, MD, specializes in anesthesiology and pain medicine at Keck Medicine of USC. He offers expert care for the management of chronic pain at the USC Pain Center. Dr. Mistry is a clinical assistant professor of anesthesiology at the Keck School. His research interests focus on patient care during surgery for age-related cognitive impairment issues and bioinformatics, a discipline that aims to improve the collection and analysis of biological data.
