Our speaker, Annie Laskey, will be talking about the historical art deco buildings of Wilshire Blvd. in Los Angeles. Learn about the history and trivia of these unique structures.
Annie Laskey graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a degree in Theater. She ran a summer festival in Culver City in the 1990’s. She managed the Los Angeles Conservancy’s award winning Walking Tour Program. She is also currently on the board of the Art Deco Society Los Angeles, and is active in the vintage dance community. Currently, she is the Director of Events for The Pasadena Senior Center.
